Visit Lymington's Famous Saturday Market !
All day every Saturday, come rain or shine.
Lymington was made a town by the Lord of the manor, William de Redvers in the period 1190-1200. Lymington was given a charter; the right to hold a market. Merchants and craftsmen would come to live in Lymington to sell their goods at the market. Lymington High Street was deliberately made wide to hold all the market stalls and goods.
Lymington's Saturday market is as popular today as ever. You can find household items, craft items, plants and a selection of locally sourced food! There are plenty of pubs and restaurants where you can stop for a bite to eat, and Lymington Quay and river is just a few minutes away.
During the last week of November there is a special Christmas market on the Friday night. Christmas Tree Lights, Carols & Late Night Shopping
